I sent this text to Jane last night right after it happened.
You sleep talked at me again. You woke up, looked at me seriously for a second & then started laughing (in a cute but creepy way). I said “why are you laughing?” & you said “blah blah soft on the outside and all spiky in the middle” & looked down seriously at the covers you were wrapped in. Then you said “I love you” & started snoring before your eyes were even shut all the way. All in all a 9 on the weird scale & an 11 on the cute scale.
She’s Great at Multitasking.
Some nights I wonder how Jane does it. At one point last night she was going down on me, she had a vibrator in my ass and she was pulling on my nipple clamps all at the same time and doing a great job at everything. It’s just amazing how she can keep track of all of that at once.
And this is why I made her my domestic partner.

Jane made butternut squash risotto for dinner. Oh dear Bob it was good. I love everything this woman says & does. I can’t wait for us to acquire babies.

Jane is off at a local coffee shop writing & i’m home. Bored. Watching TV. I’ve watched a couple episodes of House & Star Trek, now I’m watching Under The Tuscan Sun & snacking. I can’t wait till she’s home & we can cuddle.

Meaning: polyamory isn’t any more or less about sex than monogamy is. Polyamory means many loves not many pelvises. Polyamory is not swinging or cheating or screwing around. It’s about being open to falling in love and making connections. And yes, with grown adults this sometimes/often means sex is involved, but its not the main point.
(and yes, I know that your experience may be different than mine, and yes, i know that everyone does poly differently and yes not everyone is sexual and yes… whatever caveat you’re thinking of is valid… blah blah blah)Although “collect the genitals” is a really fun game.
(Just kidding. This is legit and I ruined it with my inability to take anything seriously.)
